EP electric home lift

EP ELFO T

The ELFO T is an electric traction home lift made in Italy by EP. With no machine room and no hydraulic oil, it runs from a normal single phase supply, carries 300 or 400kg up to 25 metres between up to eight floors, and needs a pit of just 150 or 190mm.

An electric home lift with no machine room

The ELFO T is driven by an electric traction unit fitted between the guide rails inside the shaft, so there is no machine room, no pump and no hydraulic oil. Its controls sit in a technical cabinet at the top of the shaft, or just outside it where the headroom is shallow, and it runs from a normal single phase supply.

It travels up to 25 metres between up to eight floors at 0.15 metres a second, which suits taller homes, and needs a pit of just 150mm for 300kg or 190mm for 400kg. Entrances can be on one side, on opposite sides, on adjacent sides or on three sides.

Four standard cabins run from 850 x 1,200mm for 300kg up to 1,100 x 1,400mm for 400kg. With the optional UPS unit, if the power fails the lift carries on to the most convenient floor and opens its doors. It meets the Machinery Directive and EN 81-41, certified by Bureau Veritas.

In a shaft or its own glazed structure

Where there is no masonry shaft, the ELFO T can travel inside EP's own steel structure, which can be glazed so the lift becomes a feature of a hallway or stairwell.

The cabin comes in Moderna or Classica styles, with walls in stainless steel, RAL paint colours, glass or real wood veneer. Landing doors can be hinged or automatic sliding, and the cabin can have its own folding or automatic sliding doors.

Without cabin doors, the cabin buttons are hold-to-run; with them, the lift answers calls automatically like a conventional lift.
