EP ELFO XL

The ELFO XL is a hydraulic home lift made in Italy by EP. It carries 300, 400 or 500kg between up to eight floors, travels up to 15.5 metres and needs a pit of just 130 to 160mm, with six standard cabin sizes to suit the space you have.

An Italian home lift with a shallow pit

The ELFO XL runs on a hydraulic drive, with its pump and controls in a small machine room or a compact cabinet near the shaft. It needs a pit of just 130 to 160mm, so there is very little digging into the floor, and it travels at 0.15 metres a second.

Six standard cabins run from 800 x 1,200mm for 300kg up to 1,400 x 1,400mm for 500kg. The lift serves up to eight floors, with entrances on one side, on opposite sides, on adjacent sides or on three sides, and it fits a masonry shaft or EP's own steel structure where there is no shaft.

If the power fails, the lift travels down to a lower floor by itself and opens its doors, so nobody is left waiting inside. It meets the European Machinery Directive and EN 81-41, certified by IMQ, and runs from a single phase or three phase supply.

Cabins and doors finished to suit your home

The cabin comes in two styles: Moderna, with flush profiles and a flush control panel, and Classica, with raised profiles and a skirting for a more traditional look.

Walls come in a wide choice of finishes, from brushed or polished stainless steel and RAL paint colours to glass and real wood veneer, with LED spotlight ceilings and a choice of control panels.

Landing doors can be hinged or automatic sliding, and the cabin can have its own folding or automatic sliding doors. Without cabin doors, the lift runs on hold-to-run buttons; with them, it answers calls automatically like a conventional lift.
