The ILS 05K is a platform lift built in Sweden by Innovation Lift Scandinavia. It carries up to 500kg or five persons, travels up to 13 metres and needs only a 50mm pit, or a ramp instead, with swing doors on up to three sides.

A platform lift that needs almost no pit
The ILS 05K is a platform lift built in Sweden by Innovation Lift Scandinavia. It carries up to 500kg or five persons and travels up to 13 metres, with a screw and nut drive and double monitored brakes.
It needs only a 50mm pit, or no pit at all with a ramp, which keeps builders' works to a minimum. At The Foundry in Manchester we installed an ILS 05K at finished floor level with ramp access, instead of excavating a lift pit.
Doors, controls and safety
Swing doors can be fitted on up to three sides, from 600 to 1,300mm wide, and are fully glazed as standard. Vision panel, aluminium and EI60 fire-rated landing doors are available, along with a 1,100mm half gate.
The ride is quiet, below 70dB(A), with soft starts and stops. The lift is operated with hold-to-run buttons that carry tactile and braille markings, and battery emergency lowering is built in.

- Outside sizes are for doors at one end. Doors at both ends add 30mm to the depth, and a door on the side adds 30mm to the width.
- The cut-out in each floor is 30mm larger than the outside size each way.
- Other platform sizes are available in 100mm steps, from 700mm wide up to 1,100 x 1,600mm.
