At Unit 1, The Foundry in Manchester, we installed a Swedish-built ILS 05K platform lift at finished floor level with ramp access, instead of excavating a conventional lift pit, keeping builders' works to a minimum inside an existing office unit.
The installation includes EI60 fire-rated landing doors, providing 60 minutes of fire integrity and insulation where the building's fire strategy requires separation at the lift landing.

Step-free access in a working care home
At Acacia Care Home in Southport, we replaced an ageing chain-driven lift with a modern Aritco Compact with centre-opening automatic doors, delivered as a complete turnkey package inside a working care home.
When the strip-out uncovered a 1,800mm deep pit, we designed bespoke structural steelwork so the new lift, which needs a finished pit of just 50mm, could be installed in exactly the same location.
