Lodestone Projects appointed Premium Lifts Ltd to supply and install a new Aritco PublicLift Access at The Gym on Archers Road, Leeds. The brief called for a reliable, attractive accessibility solution that could handle a busy public environment and still complement the building's modern interior.

We delivered the complete package: supply, installation, testing, commissioning and handover, coordinated around the wider fit-out programme and the other trades on site.

Built for public use

The Aritco PublicLift Access is a platform lift designed specifically for public and commercial spaces, with a patented screw-and-nut drive and a robust build for busy buildings. This one carries up to 5 people, behind a glazed entrance with automatic doors.

Finished to match the building

The whole lift was finished in RAL 7016 Anthracite Grey, sitting quietly against the gym's contemporary finishes. An illuminated cabin, modern LED lighting and an integrated handrail complete a clean, high quality appearance.

Safety and communication

As a public access installation, the lift includes an emergency auto-dialler with GSM communication, so help is always a button press away, plus battery-powered emergency lowering and illuminated cabin controls.
